How To Change Your Wallpaper- for newbies ~~Windows 95, 98 & NT~~ Your Desktop (where "My Computer", "Recycle Bin", "Network Neighborhood" and all those Icons are) has, or can have a picture in the background, that picture is called your Wallpaper. To change your Wallpaper, right-click on your desktop, (where there is NOT a icon) and Click "Properties" If you have a wallpaper loaded it will show in the little screen. Below the screen it says "Wallpaper" Those are your choices of Wallpapers but those are not the only pictures you can have as your wallpaper. Those are the ".bmp" files in your "windows" folder, you learn about folders and files later on. When you have picked the Wallpaper you want, you can have it in the middle by clicking the "Center" Dot, or have it repeated by clicking the "Tile" Dot. When you're done Click "OK". Patterns are black covers over your color of background, turn off wallpaper ("None") to try Patterns **Stuff to know: -Small Pictures work better tiled and large, centered. -Wallpapers are *.bmp's in C:\Windows\ -Paint makes *.bmp files You will figure it out...
