How To Add Shortcuts to your "Send To" Command ``Windows 95 & 98`` If you want you can add or remove any of them. - To add to your send to command: Put Shortcuts in C:\Windows\SendTo\ this folder can be found by typing C:\Windows\SendTo\ in Windows "Run" or: by double clicking "My Computer" then "Windows" then "SendTo" Now to see them in action: right-click any shortcut, file, folder or program and you will see "Send To", expand that label and you will the shortcuts that were just moved into the "SendTo" folder. To add more just create a shortcut and place into the "SendTo" folder - Note: The Space difference in "SendTo" and "Send To" Note: Some Icons may appear different when they are small Note: Sending a file to a program that does not support it will cause the program to prompt an Error message, or not run (ex. paint). Note: Sending programs to programs does not usually work Note: Sending A file, folder, shortcut or program to a Drive is the same as sending it to a folder (ex. if you send "hi.gif" to "Hard Drive (C)" will put "hi.gif" at C:\ (C:\hi.gif) In case you can't figure out how this is useful, with some programs you can just "Send To" a file to the program instead of finding the program, loading the program, finding the file and then opening the file. if you want to move a program, folder, or ever a file or shortcut, you can "Send To" it to a folder or drive. ***Important***READ*** Moving Programs that use system files, or system files themselves (or moving folders with them) can cause your system to be unable to find needed files. Delete will also make your system loose track of files. If your system can't find its system files... :( What IM trying to say is, don't do something when you don't know what it is your doing*** If you would like Pre-made shortcuts in a similar how-to zip file, they could be downloaded from http://www.mrwadlo.com/Send2ud.zip Enjoy Convenience, MrWadlo - mrwadlo (at) mrwadlo.com http://www.mrwadlo.com/
