How To Delete the Start Button

Click on the start button twice with the mouse OR
press the keyboard windows button and then Esc
so there is a dashed line around the button (Selected).

Press Alt+- (Alt and the "-" sign at the same time)
Choose "Close" to Delete the start button,
or move and an arrow key to move it along the taskbar.

There is no way to make the start button come back
(because pressing Alt+- when the button is selected when
there is no button) is impossible but restarting windows
will bring it back.

So you know: Moving the Start button is not permanent
             and is not very stable.
