Trails

For several years, I lived on the northern edge of Altadena, California, and being the hiker and mountain biker that I am, I was able to explore all of the trails that the nearby mountains had to offer. In order to keep track of where I had been, where I had yet been, and trails that were unknown on maps, I used a GPS receiever to map the trails of Altadena. As a second part of this project, I made the data available via this web site.

Birthday Index

Have you ever wondered which famous people have the same birthday as you? This compiled list makes this information right at your fingertips. I was born on the same day as Clint Eastwood, Chris Elliot, and D-M-C.

mIRC Project

mIRC, the cannon of IRC software on Windows, has long been used for its powerful scripting langauge. Since the beginning, mIRC has visually looked almost exactly the same, with simple customizable font settings that lack asthetic variety. The mIRC Re-Interface Project attempts to push things forward and allow for a whole new way of using mIRC.

Zip Convert

Mapping software can be created that maps points using the grid-like coordinate system of latitude and longitude. The only difficult part is figuring out how to convert locations in a city into latitude and longitute symbols on a map. This process is made simple, not by an application I have made available, but by the full data source that I have compiled from numerous sources. With this data, any programmer of data entheusiast can create maps until the cows come home.

UT2k4 Project

In December of 2004, I not only created, but took on a project that would normally require a giant team of programmers, modellers, and map designers several months to complete. Since then, I have continuiously worked on all aspects of this project, as well as overseen several beta testing phases. I like to describe the goal as an exact 3D-replica of the command of three well known locations from the Stargate SG1 television show, with percision far beyond could ever be expected.
